“THAT’S MY DADDY”
Reginald Denny’s great comedy, “That’s My Daddy,” will be shown this evening at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland.
Those who enjoy Reginald Denny’s acting will be delighted with this picture, whic hconcerns Denny’s attempts to cover up his possession of a little girl. Mot that he was ashamed of her, but she came to him through a lie he told at the Children’s Hospital, where he went to bluff a traffic inspector. The little girl, played by little Jean La Verne, aged 6, had never seen her father and mistook Deqny for him. Her habit of proudly sayifrig “That’s My Daddy” was very awkward to Denny, a single young man. How he cleared himself makes a delightful picture. The second feature, “The -AJir Patrol.” starring A 1 Wilson, the famous "stunt” flyer, is a story full of aviation thrills.
