MOUNT EDEN PA

SIR APIRANA NGATA WILL CONSIDER PLANS Until Sir Apirana Ngata, M.P., arrives in Auckland to consider the plans for the proposed pa on Mount Eden, members of Te Akarana Maori Association have decided to defer further action. The plans of Mr. Paora Chamberlain, the Maori civil engineer, of New Plymouth, will be placed before Sir Apirana Ngata for his consideration. He has already signified his approval of the site. Mr. George Graham, who has been in communication with Sir Apirana, informed members of the association at last evening’s meeting that he would not be in Auckland until at least a week after the official opening of Parliament.
