NOT TAKAPUNA'S CONCERN
CONTRIBUTION TO MUSEUM REFUSED The Takapuna Borough Council will not contribute the £ll3 with which it is assessed this year toward the £4,000 required by the Auckland Museum. It is considered that the borough is too remote from the museum to justify other than a nominal contribution to the funds. The bulk of the business interests of the Takapuna ratepayers lies within the city area and they are, in fact, contributors through the City Council. ______________________
