EDENDALE
“VERY CONFIDENTIAL”
Madge Bellamy plays one of her most outstanding roles in “Very Confidential,” which will be shown to-night at the Edendale Theatre.
She is cast as an ambitious salesgirl in a. modern sporting goods store. Here she meets, for the first time, Roger Allen, stalwart halfback, who is the idol of the girls. When she announces that she is going to win his love, the shopgirls give her a merry razzing an<t insist that she is mad. The girl is determined, however, and succeeds in inducing the manager of the store to send her to a mountain resort. Here the halfback is spending a vacation with his father. Madge poses as a celebrated sportswoman and lets herself in for some lively episodes. The second feature, “White Flannels,” starring Louise Dresser, is a thrilling melodrama.
