Four footballers were hurt in matches on Saturday and were admitted to the Auckland Hospital after treatment by the St. John AmMilance. S. Studd, aged 21, of 4 Oliphant Street, Ponsonby, was kicked on the head. His condition has improved and he will be discharged in a day or two. G. Bartram, of Brandon Street, Glen Eden, had a leg broken. He is 19 years old. A player for the St. Heliers Bay Club, Te Paa, bad his jaw fractured in the match with Otahuhu. Albert Laing, aged 19, of 169 Victoria Street, Devonport, broke a leg.
