BASKETBALL
RESULTS OF MATCHES SOME GRADES POSTPONED Second, third and fourth-grade matches, under the auspices of the Auckland Basketball Association, were played at the old Grammar School grounds on Saturday afternoon. Owing to the grounds at the Normal School not being available, matches in the other grades were postponed. Results are as follow: — Second Grade. —Training College 6, Brown Bros. 5; Victoria 11, Y.W.C.A. 8; Lyr.ndale 23, University 3; Grammar 12, Training College 4; Tahutu S, Rata 5. Third Grade. —Seddon 5, Belmont 1; Manukau 14, Edendale 7; Grammar 12, Y.W.C.A. 12; Inter-house Green 12, Training College 4: Richmond 10, New Lynn 5; Surrey Hills 11, Training College 6. Fourth Grade. —“Herald’" 14, Wesley 12; Y.W.C.A. 14, Otahuhu 7; IVlanurewa 12, Papatoetoe 5; Victoria 15, Training College 3; Surrey Hills 17, Training College 2.
