“TWELVE MILES OUT”
.J-ohri Gilbert is the star in Twelve Miles Out,” which is now being shown at the Grand Theatre. The picture adapted from the famous stage play by William Anthony McGuire, is a spectacular expose of the secrets of rum runners. Gilbert plays the role of a motor-cycle daredevil, who, cheated of his sweetheart by tike commander of a rum-running band, becomes the Nemesis of the gangsters in a strange tale of plot and revenge. The cast is a notable one. Joan Crawford plays the leading feminine role, and Ernest Torrence, Eileen Percy, Bert Roach. Tom O’Brien, Edward Earle, Paulette Duval, Dorothv Sebastian, Gwen Lee and other wellknown players are in the cast. Corinne Griffith’s outstanding picture. “The Garden of Eden,” will also shown.
