OBJECTION TO NOR GROVE’S REPRIEVE

This morning the relatives of the late Mrs. Ernistina Mary Norgrove waited on the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, and placed before him their opposition to the reprieve granted Allan George Norgrove.

On Saturday morning the Executive Council met and considered Norgrove’s case. As a result of the deliberations Norgrove’s death penalty was computed to one of imprisonment for life.
