RIOTERS IMPRISONED QUESTIONS IN ASSEMBLY ( United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright i Reed. 10.30 a.m. CAPETOWN, Friday Disturbances arising from the flag day celebrations continued in the early morning to-day. The incidents had a sequel in the Legislative Assembly, when an Opposition member asked the Prime Minister, General Hertzog, if he did not think the cause was the refusal to fly the Union Jack on Capetown Castle. The Speaker shouted “Order,” and the Ministerialists, “Shame! Scandalous! Racialist!” It was the last incident of the session. There were over 100 arrests in the city. The ringleaders were sentenced to three months’ hard labour. Three times yesterday the National flag was cut down at Butterworth, on the border of Cape and native territory. The hoisting passed off throughout the country with general goodwill.
