As the beautiful girl who is torn between the loves of two men. Miss Borden brings much of her latent dramatic power to the surface in one of the most versatile roles she has ever played. Joan Century has everything moneycan buy and she has always had everything her own way, but when love finally comes to her she finds that there are inevitable things that onlyfate can control. Such a theme more than gives Miss Borden ample opportunity to show her emotional temperament. Antonio Moreno plays opposite Miss Borden and Cornelius Keefe gives an interesting performance as her dis- ! traught fiance. The second feature is “Millionaires,” ■ a humorous story’’ of poor Jewish ! people suddenly made wealthy.
