Elsie Clara Babick was charged in the Police Court to-day with assaulting Charles Wilfred Waldren on May 18, so as to cause actual bodily harm. It was alleged that the man was struck with a tomahawk and the medical evidence given showed that the man, when admitted to hospital, was suffering from shock and loss of blood. Across the left ear there was a cut about four and a-half inches long in the same direction with the line of the eyes.
