Horses and Their Riders for T o-morrow
Jockeys’ Engagements ABSENCE OF THE CRACKS Several of the leading jockeys will be riding at Otaki to-morrow, and the reason is not hard to seek. At the Southern fixture, on the two days there are 14 flat and two hurdle races, as against nine flat races at Ellerslie on the three days, including the divided mile race to-morrow, the remaining 13 events comprising a dozen over hurdles and the bigger fences, and one flat race for amateur riders.
