HOTEL-KEEPER’S SON IN TROUBLE ADMITTED TO PROBATION Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. James Ford, aged 22, of Kaikoura, was admitted to two years probation in the Magistrate’s Court this morning for the theft of £27 10s, the property of Mrs. Thomas. Accused pleaded guilty. The Chief-Detective said that accused was the son of the licensee of one of the Kaikoura hotels. Mrs. Thomas was a boarder at the hotel and accused entered her room and stole her bag.
