MAORI STRUCK BY CAR
COLLAR-BONE BROKEN A motor-car in Queen Street, Onchunga, knocked down James Rukutai, and fractured his collar-bone. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital. Mr. Rukutai, who is a well-known, interpreter and footballer, wae crossing the street to board a trameax when struck. He is a married man. of 49. The motor-car was driven by Mr. W. E. Sharp, of McLeod Avenue. Royal Oak.
