AUCTION NOTES William A. MINING NEWS KUR u f * — The manager reports: “The drive on the leader met with in the crosscut has been advanced a further 7 feet for the week, making a total of 14 reet. The leader has opened out to one foot and shows some very nice mineral and silica, but no gold was seen. The rise from the intermediate level has been extended a furthei 8 feet, making a total of 20 feet from the level. The quartz broken from here looks verv promising and still shows a little gold ‘in the dish° but the country is still of a very poor description. ”
