PARENGA HARBOUR IS FULL OF MULLET
NONE AT BAY OF ISLANDS Parenga Harbour, in the north of Auckland, is reported to be "full of mullet" just now. Yet at the Bay of Islands, where these fish were very plentiful two years ago, they are conspicuous by tneir absence this year. It is 20 years, said a speaker at last night’s meeting of the Auckland Institute, since he had seen mullet in such numbers at the Bay of Islands as there wero two ago.
