Peid, and himself, the chosen nominee to tarry the party banner in Novembe \s it is. the votes of the Waikato electors will he well divided, as the (•ountry Party and United Party also ' 9 already represented in the election Held. Labour has not yet announced its intentions. REFORMER FOR HAURAKI The Reform Party will place Mr. A. W. Hall, chairman of the Papatoetoe Town Board, in the new ilauraki electorate. Mr* Hall having consented, at ,he request of a large deputation of supporters, to go to the poll. Mr. Kail is the son of the late Mr. Robert Hall, of One Tree Hill, and is 47 years of age. He has lived in Papatoetoe for the past years, and was a member of the first town board of Puputoctoe. having occupied the position of board chairman for six years. During his term of office Papatoetoo has had permanent roads and town planning scheme completed, and organisation of the water scheme well on the way. He has been an active delegate on all local body conference work. Mr. Hall * member of the Railway Advisory Board. LIBERAL FOR FRANKLIN In response to requests, Mr. G. T. Tarvin, deputy-Mayor of Pukekohe, will stand for the Franklin seat as a Liberal. Although the United Party is merged with the liberals, the headquarters of tLe party in Auckland has not endorsed the candidature of Mr. Parvin. Mr. Parvin has been a member of the Pukekohe Borough Council for some vears. He is also a member of the franklin Electric-Power Board and the Board of Managers of the Pukekohe Technical High School.
