WELLINGTON CITY VOTES £IO,OOO AN IMMEDIATE START Press Association WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The City Council to-night decided to allocate £IO,OOO, an amount similar to that allocated last year, in order to commence work on unemployment relief immediately. It was also decided to approach the Government with a view to ascertaining what subsidy the Government was prepared to give. The Mayor stated there was definite work to which unemployed men can be put. _______
