SALESMAN INJURED

KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR POLICE SEARCH FOR DRIVER (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. While walking across the traffic bridge last evening Mr. John Pearce, aged 25, a motor salesman at the Winter Show, was knocked down by a motor-car estimated to be travelling at 40 miles an hour. Pearce sustained severe head injuries and was admitted to the Waikato Hospital. The police are making every effort to trace the car driver. The speed limit on the bridge is 12 miles an hour.
