The Hague Arbitration Tribunal eave a verdict against Germany’s tlaim that she was entitled, since 1924. to deduct from the Dawes annuitjes the value of German private property liquidated or sequestrated in Allied countries, under authority of the Treaty of Versailles. The British Empire was interested in the claim to the extent of £39,000,000.
