ENGLAND TO WELLINGTON SHORT-WAVE WIRELESS Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. Mr. J. J. Reich, of Belmont, reports that between 10 and 10.30 this morning he heard nightingales singing at Pangbourne Village, a few miles from Reading, England. He was listening to a broadcast of SSW, the British Broadcasting Company’s short-wave station. The birds’ song, though not loud, was perfectly clear and audible from the loudspeaker.
