“TOOK LITTLE TOO MUCH”

MOTORIST INTOXICATED £25 FINE IMPOSED LICENCE CANCELLED Thomas Williams, aged 23, was fined £25 at the Police Court today, and his motor driving licence was cancelled for 12 months. Williams pleaded guilty to a charge of being intoxicated while driving a motor-car. Sub-Inspector McCarthy said that accused had a slight collision with a tram late on Saturday evening. He was not drunk, but was too intoxicated to be driving a motor-car. Mr. R. A. Singer, who appeared for Williams, said that his client had never been in trouble before, but he had taken a little too much liquor.
