THREE PERSONS KILLED
AIR LINER CRASHES (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association) BERLIN, Saturday. One of the Lufthansa Company’s air liners was in flight from Frankfort to Berlin when it crashed at Radevorm Wald, in Prussia. It caught fire and the pilot and two passengrs were killed, and another passenger was seriously injured. PILOT BADLY HURT AUSTRALIAN AIR RACE MELBOURNE, Sunday. A competitor in the aerial Derby yesterday, Flight-Lieutenant A. G. Wells, who was in an Air Force De Havilland 9 machine, struck a hightension electric cable, which tore off both the wings and then fused with a blinding flash. Th 9 machine crashed. Lieutenant Wells was badly injured, and may lose his eyesight. His forehead was crushed and his condition is critical.
