WET AUCKLAND

SHOULD the meteorological officer’s predictions prove correct, May, IS2B, should show another record for rainfall in Auckland. Up to the present time 10.12 inches cf rain have fallen this month; the previous record, taken over a period of 45 years, was recorded in 1924, when May had a record of 10.63 inches. The officer predicts that another heavy downpour of rain should take place tonight.
