The Berlin correspondent of “The Times” says experts have decided that the remaining stocks of phosgene gas shall be destroyed by caustic soda and ammonia. The Minister of Economic Affairs. Dr. Curtuis, at a Cabinet meeting today, said the gas was not intended for militaxy purposes. A departmental expert had gone to Hamburg to conduct an inquiry into the actual origin of the gas which killed seven people there on May 21.
