NOW OUT OF DANGER MAORIS ALSO AFFECTED (From, Our Own Correspondent) OPOTIKI, To-day. A family named Taylor, living at Gmaramuta native settlement down the East Coast from Opotiki was severely poisoned as a result of eating honey. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor and their two children were attacked by severe convulsions, necessitating lengthy medical attention until all sign of danger was over. It is said the honey was taken from the hive cells, the comb not being covered. Some Maoris also are stated to have been poisoned from the same source, although in the latter instance the poisoning was not so severe.
