PRINCE EDWARD
“THE GARDEN OF EDEN" Corinne Griffith in “The Garden of Eden” is the first feature on the programme now being shown at the Prince Edward Theatre. Miss Griffith’s part—that of an unknown little cabaret entertainer who through a chain of ingenious circumstances breaks into Monte Carlo society as the “daughter” of a baroness—gives this charming star one of her best opportunities to display her remarkable ability. That she invests the role with a touch of comedy is particularly fitting; and it adds one new string to her histrionic bow. The supporting cast includes Louise Dresser and Lowell Sherman. The second feature is “Very Confidential,” starring Madge Bellamy in the story of a shop-girl who loves a football star. Production is scheduled to start at once on Fred Thomson’s next picture for Paramount, “The Sunset Legion.” It is a story of the exciting mining days of the ’9o’s.
