LABOURER’S MANY THEFTS
MONEY TAKEN FROM HOUSES Press Associationi PALMERSTON N., Wednesday. In the Police Court to-day Henry Roland Barr, a labourer, aged 24 years, pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence for breaking and entering the dwelling of Thomas Young at Fitzherbert. and stealing articles valued at £3 11s. also, with breaking and entering the dwelling of Mrs. Avery at Palmerston North, and stealing articles valued at £2 2s 6c; also, with breaking and entering the dwelling of Miss McLagan at Palmerston North, and stealing 4s in money.
Accused pleaded not guilty' to an act of indecency', and was sentenced to three months’ hard labour.
