DIM TRAIN LIGHTS
COMPLAINT TO RAILWAYS DEPARTMENT Press Association. PALMERSTON N.. Wednesday. The Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce has decided to make representations to the Railway Department regarding the alleged dimness of headlights on express trains. One member stated that lights on the engines were often mistaken for town lights. Cases had occurred where motorists were almost on crossings before they realised that a train was approaching.
