BORROWED MOTOR-CAR THREE MONTHS’ PRISON Press Association PALMERSTON N., Wednesday . In the Police Court this morning Henry William Gardner Mtech and Colin Charles McAaey, both aged 20. were charged before Mr. . L. Stout. S.M., with unlawfully coaverting n their own use a motor-car. They pleaded guilty. The police said the car had been taken from the Square and later recovered in Hawera. Each was sentenced to three months’ hard lab Dur, the magistrate remarking that this cls.ss of offence was on the increase and even the maximum .punishment was apparently unable to stop it.
