MAN’S SPINE INJURED Suffering from a fractured spine, John Beaie was admitted to the Auckland Hospital about 8 o’clock yesterday. His condition is serious. The injured man, who lived at the Strand Hotel, Ponsonby, is a fireman on a. trawler owned by Sanfords, Ltd. He was walking along the deck when he slipped and fell ten feet down the hold. A fisherman on the same boat fractured his pelvis early this morning. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is nor serious.
