FIRE IN WAREHOUSE

SEVERAL HUNDRED POUNDS’ DAMAGE Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Early this morning fire did extensive damage in the premises of Thomas Borthwick and Sons in Gloucester Street, presumably starting in the caretaker’s cupboard under the stairs. Two rooms were gutted, and woodwork elsewhere was destroyed. The amount of the loss runs into hundreds of pounds.
