NEW ORPHANS’ CLUB
ST. HELIERS BAY An Orphans’ Club was formed by Tamaki residents at St. Heliers Bay on Tuesday when over 40 members were enrolled. The Auckland club wrote in congratulation and offering any help needed to organise the social side of the club. Mr. G. R. Hogan, who presided, was elected first president and Messrs. C. L. Lovegrove, F. G. Basket, M. McArthur, M. Miller, R. B. Cruickshank and J. Innes were elected vice-presi-dents. The committee men are Messrs. R. Glover-Clark, J. H. Hubber, C. H. Clinkard, G. Neville, D. Silk and L. J. Keys. Air. G. Scott was made secretary and treasurer. Aleetings will be held on the first and second Tuesdays of each month from Tuesday, June 5..
