THE POOLTA. —The Union Company reports that the Poolta, from Clarence River and Port Stevens, was to leave Newcastle yesterday for Auckland, Wellington,. Timaru and Greymouth. She is due at Auckland next Monday. MELBOURNE SERVICE. —Trie intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka is scheduled to leave Melbourne at 10 a.m. to-day for Wellington. The vessel is due there next Monday, and will leave again the following day for Melbourne, via Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. PIPIRIKI AT NEW YORK. —Cabled advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Co. that the Pipiriki arrived at New York last Tuesday from Montreal and Sydney (C. 8.) to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She was to sail from New York yesterday. THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER.— Cabled news has been received by the Canadian National Steamships that the Canadian Highlander arrived at New York on May 11 from Auckland,, and at Boston on May 24, en route to Montreal. The vessel left Auckland on April 5. RE MU ERA AT PANAMA.— A cable message to the New Zealand Shipping Company reports that their liner Remuera arrived at Panama on Friday morning from Wellington, en route to Southampton and London. The vessel left Wellington on April, 28. PORT DUNEDIN TO LOAD. —The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Dunedin, which arrived at New Plymouth on Sunday from Lyttelton to complete discharge, will leave the Taranaki port on Saturday to load at Wanganui, Tima.ru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington on June 7, and will sail finally from there on June 10 for London, via Pinama. STEAMERS FROM LIVERPOOL. —The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Huntingdon has replaced the Hertford on the loading berths at West Coast ports of Great Britain and is to sail from Liverpool on June 9 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Devon has replaced the Cambridge and is to be dispatched from Liverpool on July 7 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Tongariro has replaced the Somerset and is to sail from Liverpool on August IS for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. ZEALANDIC FOR HOME. At 2 o’clock this afternoon the Shaw, Savill : and Albion Company's new motor-ship is 1 ’ to leave Auckland for London, via Panama. KANNA SAILING.—At 2 o’clock this afternoon the Union Company's steamer Kanna proceeds to the powder anchorage to load explosives, thence she proceeds to Noumea and Walpole Island to load for Bluff. SMALL KETCH'S VOYAGE. The 15-ton ketch Limejuicer 11. reached Suva from Newcastle, via New Hebrides and New Caledonia, yesterday. The vessel sailed from Newcastle on March 3. Her future movements are uncertain. PORT NAPIER AT NEW YORK. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Napier, which sailed from Auckland for New York, Boston, Halifax and London on April 18, is reported to have reached New York last Sunday. SUGAR FROM JAVA.—Spedding, Limited, have been advised that the Weir Line steamer Mineric arrived at Rabaul on May 1. After discharge she proceeds to Java to load sugar .for Auckland. She is expected to arrive here about the middle of next month. PAPANUI'S DISCHARGING PORTS. — The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Papanui, which is leaving Montreal on June 10 and New York on June 30, is loading cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. MAUI POMARE FOR NEW ZEALAND.—Leaving Apia, Samoa, to-day. for Niue Island and Wellington, the new Government motor-ship Maui Pomare is expected to arrive at Wellington on June 1. Spedding-, Limited, expects the vessel to reach Auckland about June 7 to take up her running in the Island service. TASMANIA SAILS.—Early this morn- j ing the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Tasmania left Auckland for Napier, thence Lyttelton and Wellington to complete her loading for Home. She sails finally from Wellington on June 2 for Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool, via Montevideo and Las Palmas. PORT CURTIS ARRIVING.—Due in the stream at Auckland this afternoon from New York, the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Curtis later berths at the Prince’s Wharf to land the local portion of her cargo under the agency of Heather, Iloberton and Company. From here the vessel pi-oceeds to Napier, thence Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. SCHELDEPAS DELAYED.—A further radio message received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Belgian steamer Scheldepas has been delayed and is now expected to arrive at Auckland on Saturday morning from Antwerp. The vessel is bringing basic slag for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. She will berth at the Central Wharf. CANADIAN TRANSPORTER DUE.— Leaving Wellington to-night for Auckland, the Canadian National Steamship Line advises that the Canadian Transporter is due here on Saturday to complete her loading. It is hoped to dispatch her the same evening for New York, Boston and Montreal, via Panama. MAT ANGI’S WINTER SAILINGS. The Northern Steamship Company advises that from Monday next, the winter timetable for the steamer Matangi will come into operation. The Matangi will leave Auckland during the winter months at 6.30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, and Tauranga at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. PORT DENISON TO LOAD. The Frmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company have been advised that the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Denison is due at Auckland on June 20 from Australia to commerce her loading for London. From here the vessel proceeds to Tokomaru Bay and other Southern ports to fill up. MATAKANA DUE MONDAY. L. D. Nathan and Company have been advised that the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Matakana leaves Dunedin on Sturday for Auckland, where she is due next Monday to commence her loading for Home. She leaves here again on May 31 for Gisborne, thence Waikokopu, Napier and Wellington to fill up and sails finally from the latter port on June 16 for London and West of England ports, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. MARAMA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company’s Marama, which arrived at Auckland yesterday from Sydney, experienced a rough trip across the Tasman Sea. ' She left the wharf at Sydney at 4 p.m. last Friday and cleared the Heads 3 J hours later. In the Tasman Sea she ran into a strong southerly wind and rough beam seas, which delayed her considerably.
