Obituary
MR. C. . WADDINGHAM An old and prominent resident of Auckland, Mr. Charles Seaton Waddingham, aged 70 years, died on Monday at his residence. Epsom. At a very early age Mr. Waddingham arrived in New Zealand with his parents, who settled at Mangonui, later coming to Auckland. Educated -at Newton Academy, he carried on business as a plumber, retiring about 1915. A pastchief ranger of the Foresters’ Order, he also belonged to Lodge Ponsonby, Fremasons, Scottish Constitution. For many years he was on the Epsom School Committee and an Epsom Methodist Church trustee. He is survived by his wife, four daughters and two sons, Mr. C. E. Waddingham and Mr. G. Waddingham. The funeral took place at Mangere yesterday.
