CLAY BIRD SHOOTING

Following are details of the clay bird shoot held by members of the Morrinsville Gun Club at the club’s grounds: No. 1 Sweep of 5 birds.—T. Keeps and B. Russick scored the possible. No. 2 Sweep (novice), of 6 birds: A. Aitkin and T. Davis divided. No. 3 Sweep, of 5 birds: G. Brooks and S. Parlour scored the possible and divided. No. 4 Sweep (novice), of 6 birds: Q. MeDavitt scored the possible. No. 5 Sweep, of 7 birds: S. Parlour, G. Brooks and C. McDavitt tied with six each. McDavitt won the shoot-off on the 11th bird. Quail Drive, of 4 birds: S. Parlour and B. Russick tied with three each and divided.
