WESTMORELAND REPORTED. En route from New Zealand to London and Hull, the Federal Line steamer Westmoreland reached Panama last Friday. The vessel sailed from Wellington on April 28. PORT VICTOR REPORTED. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Victor, which sailed from Lyttelton on April 27 for London, via Montevideo and Rio de Janeiro, cleared Montevideo last Friday. CORINTHIC AT SOUTHAMPTON.— Cable advice states the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Corinthic reached Southampton from New Zealand last Sunday. The vessel sailed from Wellington on April 11. CARGO FOR WHANGAMATA.—Owing to June 4 being a holiday, the Northern Company advises that the Apanui will not call at Whangamata on this trip. Instead, the Paroto will leave Auckland on Monday next. May 2S. for Whangamata. REMUERA AT PANAMA.—The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cable advice that its liner Remuera reached Panama last Friday, en route from Wellington to Southampton and London. She was dispatched from Wellington on April 28. HAUTURU’S NEW ITINERARY. The Northern Company advises that commencing next week the auxiliary schooner Hauturu will be dispatched from Onehunga on Mondays for Raglan. Kawliia and Waikato Heads, and on Thursdays for Hokianga. PORT N API ER REPORTED. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line’s steamer Port Napier is reported to have reached Norfolk, Virginia, last Friday. The vessel was dispatched from Auckland on April IS for New York, Boston, Halifax and London. PORT AUCKLAND DUE FRIDAY. The C. and D. Line’s motor-ship Port Auckland left New Plymouth last evening for Opua and. Auckland. She is due here on Friday, and, after lifting the local portion of her cargo, proceeds next Monday to Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne and Wellington to fill up. She sails finally from Wellington on June 7 for London, via Las Palmas.
PORT DUNEDIN’S PROGRAMME. The C. and D. Line advises that the motor-ship Port Dunedin, now completing her discharge at New Plymouth, commences loading there and later fills up at Wanganui, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on June 20 for London, via Panama.
2EALANDIC SAILS TO-MORROW. Efforts are being made by A. S. Paterson and Company to dispatch the new Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s motor-ship Zealandic from Auckland at mid-day to-morrow for London, via Panama. She is at present completing her loading at the Queen’s Wharf. WAIKOUAITI FROM LYTTELTON. — Leaving Lyttelton to-morrow afternoon for Auckland, the local office of the Union Company advises that the Waikouaiti is due here about Saturday next. After discharge at this port, the vessel proceeds to Opua, thence Newcastle and Sydney. TAHITI FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company has received advice that the Royal .Mail liner Tahiti was dispatched from San Francisco last Wednesday afternoon with passengers, mail , and cargo for New Zealand and Australia, j She is due at Wellington on June 4 and : at Sydney on June 9. TARANAKI LEAVES LONDON. Cabled news has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that their new motor-ship Taranaki left Lon- j don on Friday with general cargo to discharge at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, Bluff, i Hawke's Bay and New Plymouth. The vessel is due at Lyttelton on June 21. MAUNGANUI AT WELLINGTON.— ! Advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the passenger steamer Maunganui arrived at Wellington at 6.45 a.m. to-day from Sydney, and sails at 3 p.m. on Friday on her return trip to the New South Wales port. TASMANIA SAILING.—To complete her loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company hopes to dispatch the steamer Tasmania from Auckland at 6 o’clock this evening for Napier, thence Lyttelton and Wellington. She sails finally from Wellington on June 2 for West of England ports, via Las Palmas. NORFOLK FROM LIVERPOOL. No radio has yet been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company advising the time of arrival of the Federal steamer Norfolk, which is due at Auckland from Liverpool with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. It is expected she will arrive here on Friday. SCHELDEPAS DUE FRIDAY. According to a radio message received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Belgium steamer Scheldepas is expected to arrive at Auckland at noon on Friday from Antwerp. The vessel is bringing a cargo of basic slag for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. KANNA FOR WALPOLE ISLAND.— The local office of the Union Company advises that the steamer Kanna, which arrived at Auckland last evening from Greymouth, proceeds to the powder anchorage at 2 p.m. to-morrow, thence Noumea and Walpole Islands, where at the latter port she loads phosphates for Bluff. I MARAMA ARRIVES.—ShortIy after | noon to-day the Union Company’s passenger steamer Marama arrived in the stream at Auckland from Sydney. After pratique was granted, the vessel berths at the Prince’s Wharf to land her passengers, mails, and cargo. At 3 p.m. on Friday she leaves Auckland on her return trip to the New South Wales port. CARGO FROM SOUTH AUSTRALIA.— The local office of the Union Company advises that the collier Kawatiri, which arrived at Auckland this morning from Westport, leaves on Thursday for Newcastle for bunkers, thence Adelaide, Edithburg, and Melbourne to load for New Plymouth, Portland, Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin. CANADIAN TRANSPORTER TO LOAD. - The local office of the Canadian National Steamship Line have been advised that the Canadian Transporter left Dunedin yesterday afternoon for Wellington and Auckland to complete her loading. She is due here on Saturday nnd it is hoped to dispatch her the same day for New York, Boston and Montreal, via Panama. WILLASTON AT COLON.—Reported by cablegram to have reached Colon last Saturday, the Wirrall Transport Company’s steamer W'ilaston is en route from New York to New Zealand. The case oil and general cargo is for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui. The Willaston is running under the auspices of the A. and A. Line, and the New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. RIMUTAKA REPORTS.—According to advice received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the master of the Rimutaka has wirelessed that the liner is due to arrive at Wellington on Friday morning from London and Southampton, and that all is well on board. Beisides her passengers and mails, the vessel has cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. She is due here about May 31. PORT CURTIS ARRIVING.—Due at Auckland to-morrow from New York, the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Curtis will later proceed to Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff to complete discharge, after which she will load in the South, thence Opua and Auckland. She is due at Opua on June 25, and at Auckland two days later. She sails finally from this port on June 30 for London and West of England ports, via Las Palmas. Heather, Roberton, and Company will act as the local agents for the vessel. MATAKANA’S PROGRAMME.—Due at Dunedin this morning from Lyttelton to complete her discharge of Liverpool cargo, the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company advises that the steamer Matakana leaves the Otago port on Friday for Auckland, where she is due next Monday to commence her loading for Home. She leaves here again on May 31 for Gisborne, thence Waikokopu, Napier, and Wellington to fill up, and is scheduled to clear the latter port finally on June 16 for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool, via Montevideo and Teneriffe.
