COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Awahou arrived in Auckland at 11 o’clock last evening from Gisborne. She sails at 5 p.m. to-day for East Coast bays. The Rangitoto arrived from Thames shortly after noon to-day and sails on the; return trip at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Taniwha arrived from Paeroa at 4 a.m. to-day and sails on the return trip at midnight. The Hauiti is due at 2 p.m. to-day from Coromandel and Colville. She sails, for Kopu and Turua at 1 p.m. to-morrow. The Omana arrived at 11 a.m. to-day from Brown’s Bay, Arkle’s Bay, Manly, Deep Creek and Silverdale, and sails again at 2 o’clock this afternoon for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. She is due back in Auckland at 1 a.m. to-mor-row and sails again 10 a.m. the same morning for Waiheke. The Kawau is due in Auckland at 5 p.m. to-day from Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai, and sails for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, Little and Big Omaha at 10 a.m. to-morrow. The Claymore sails at 10.30 p.m. today for Whangarei and is due back in Auckland at 7.30 a.m. on Thursday. The Toa sails at 3 p.m. to-day for Whakatane, and is due back in Auckland on Saturday. The Waipu is due in Auckland at 3 a.m. to-morrow from Kerepeehi. She sails on the return trip at 3 p.m. on Thursday. The Matangi is expected in Auckland at 7 a.m. to-morrow from Tauranga, sailing on the return *rip at 7 o’clock the same evening. The Apanui is due at 4 a.m. to-morrow from Mercury Bay and Tairua, and sails at midnight the same evening for Great Barrier. The Tutanekal sailed at 6 o’clock this morning for Mokohinau, Hen and Chickens and Northern and West Coast lighthouses. The Waimea, which sails at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Gisborne and Napier, returns to Auckland next Sunday. The Kurow, from Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru, left Lyttelton at 10 p.m. yesterday for Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. She is due here about Monday next. The Kaponga left New Plymouth at 8.30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due to-morrow. After discharge here the vessel proceeds to Greymouth. The Waikouaiti leaves Lyttelton tomorrow afternoon for Auckland direct, where .she is due about Saturday next. The Kartigi, from Westport, leaves Napier at 3 o’clock this afternoon for Auckland, where she is due on Thursday. After discharge at Auckland the Kartigi loads here and sails next Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Wingatui, en route from Dunedin, leaves . maru at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Picton, Wellington and Auckland, and is due here about Monday next. The Waipiata leaves Dunedin this afternoon, via Lyttelton and Wellington, lor Auckland, and should arrive here early next week. The Kaitangata is to load at Greymouth on Thursday for Auckland and should arrive here early next week. The Kairanga left Auckland last evening for Newcastle, where she loads on Saturday for Wellington. The Gunbar has been delayed and now arrives at Auckland on Saturday. On Monday she leaves here on her return trip to East Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. The Baron Fairlie sails at 5 o’clock this afternoon for New Plymouth, where she completes her discharge of basic slag from Antwerp.

The Prunus is due at Westport tomorrow from Auckland, and after bunkering proceeds to Nauru Island for loading.
