DEVONPORT LEADS IN COMPETITION POINTS
The following: table shows the present positions of the senior Rugby League teams: Pts. Chp.
with Ellerslie at fullback, has been seen to better advantage, while Littlewood on the wing played his best game this season. Crewther, on the other wing, was not as much art home as he is at fullback. Shand and Speight at five-eighths, got through a lot of hard work and both played good games. Young Crewther at half is a tiger for work. All the Ellerslie forwards played well and it was no fault of theirs that they were defeated.
