Two Men Hurt. —Mr. Leslie Stevens and Mr. Henry Rilston, who were knocked down by motor-cars, were admitted to the Southland Hospital yesterday. Mr. Rilston, who was riding a motor-cycle, had one leg fractured.— P.A. Death at Sea. —Mr. R. Thomas, 45, died on the liner Aorangi while the steamer was between Suva and Honolulu on her last voyage north. Captain Crawford, the Aorangi’s captain, conducted the burial at sea. Watermain Geyser. A watermain under repair in Hunter Street, in the centre of Wellington, burst this morning and sent a huge column of water over the roofs of adjoining buildings.
