POLICEMAN STEPS IN
PEDESTRIAN WHO STUMBLED A man crossing Albert Street, near the intersection with Victoria Street, tripped on the kerbing and fell heavily, cutting a deep gash over his left eye. ~ , The St. John Ambulance was called out, but a policeman coming on the scene, refused to allow the injured man to be removed to hospital, and arrested him on a charge of drunkenness. ..
