BRIGHT DANCE PARTY
A delightful dance was given by the Misses Molly and Ena McManemin at their home in Ladies’ Mile, Remuera, last evening. Miss Molly McManemin wore powder blue georgette relieved with silver, and Miss Ena McManemin had chosen rose pink chiffon velvet. The young hostesses received their guests in the spacious lounge, which was gay with bowls of golden chrysanthemums. The guests were: Miss D. Saunders, flame crepe de chine gown with diamante trimming. Miss V. Peacocke, black chiffon velvet model. Miss B. McFarlane, dainty bouffant frock of lilac taffeta. j Miss G. James, blue and silver gros ! grain taffeta gown. Miss F. Jowitt, nile green crepe de chine frock. Miss A. Chiplin, cyclamen crepe de chine gown relieved with french grey. & Miss Olive Chiplin, ecru lace gown worn over champagne crepe de chine.
The most obstinate wart can be removed with a paste made of sulphur and water, applied at night, and covered with a piece of clean rag. The worst cases yield in a few days.
