Mrs. W. A. Roleyns, of Whangarei, is at the Albert Motel. Miss J. B. Whitelaw has returned to Auckland from a visit to England. Mrs. Batkin has returned to Arundel, Auckland, after a visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Bloomfield, of Waiuku, are visiting Auckland, and are at Cargen. Mrs. J. H. Bush, of Marton, ■who has been visiting Auckland, has returned South. Mrs. A. A. Martin, Arney Road, Remuera, has left for a short visit to Okoroire. Mrs. A. M. Gould has returned to Takapuna after a visit to Whangarei and Feilding. Mrs. D. Caldwell, of Cambridge, who has been visiting Auckland, returned home to-day. Lady Hall Jones and the Misses Hull Jones, of Wellington, are staying at the Central Hotel. Mrs. Athol Mills will be leaving Auckland shortly to take up her residence in Wellington. Mrs. Cyril Rout, of Nelson, is spending the winter months with her mother, Mrs. Tancred, Remuera. At the Grand Hotel are Mr. and Mrs. J. Taylor, of Sydney, and Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Reid, of Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. V. Farquhar, of Fiji, are returning by the Tofua to-day after a short visit to the Dominion. Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Bloomfield, of Waiuku, are visiting Auckland and are staying at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. and Mrs. H. Langguth, of Rotorua, and Mr., Mrs. and Miss Armitage, of Manaia, are at the Royal Hotel. Guests at the Central Hotel include Mr. and Mrs. J. J. E. Downey, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Steele, of Russ elk Colonel ‘and Mrs. Noel Adams, of Wharekawa, and Mr. and Mrs. T. Bloomfield, of W'aiuku, are staying at the Hotel Cargen. The Misses E. L. and R. B. Hellaby, who have been staying at Braeburn, left last evening for Wellington to join the Makura en route for England and tthe Continent. They intend to be away about eighteen months.
