The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report:— At the Te Awamutu sale on Thursday we had an average yarding of fat and store cattle, also sheep and pigs. Good competition ruled throughout, and we report a most successful sale. Quotations: Fat bullocks, £ll 7s 6d to £l2 2s 6d; lighter bullocks, £lO 15s to £lO 19s; heavy fat cows, £9 15s to £ll 12s 6d; medium weights, £S 2s 6d to £9 ss; lighter weights, £6 7s 6d to £7 10s; plain fat cows, £4 19s to £6; fat heifers, £6 10s to £8; fleshy boner cows, £4 6s to £5 ss; others, £2 10s to £3 16s; 25-year-old steers, £4 ISs to £5; best highgrade yearling Jersey heifers, £4 17s to £5; others, £3 to £3 15s; springing Jersey Heifers, £7 10s to £9 15s; dairy cows, £9 to £lO 15s; fat wethers, £1 11s; forward lambs, 19s 6d to £1 3s; good store pigs, £1 5s to £1 11s; .slips, 14s to 19s; weaners, 7s to 12s.
