DAIRY COMPANY AFFAIRS
DELEGATES TO CONFER Oyer 100 delegates are expected to assemble in Auckland on May 28 on the occasion of the 15th annual conference of representatives of North Auckland dairy companies. Remits to be considered include a recommendation from the executive that all duties should be removed from dairy machinery, and another from the Maungatapere Dairy Company that import duties on stock foods should be removed. Grounds, chairman of the Dairy Produce Control Board, and the proceedings will also include a presentation to Mr. G. M. Valentine, Government instructor in dairying in North Auckland tor the last seven years, who has recently been aopointed superintendent of the dairy factory at the Massey Agricultural College.
