PROBATION FOR FORGER
SENTENCES AT NEW PLYMOUTH Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, To-day. In the Supreme Court John Howard William Tapp was sentenced to 12 months’ reformative detention for false pretences. Harold Middelton Lee, for forging and uttering and false pretences, was admitted to probation for five years, ordered to keep a prohibition order in force during that time, to make restitution of £l2 and to pay six guineas, the costs of the prosecution.
