FRANKLIN MOTORISTS
ASSOCIATION SOCIAL Franklin members of the Auckland Automobile Association and their friends were entertained at a social function at Pukekohe on Wednesday evening by the Franklin agency. Representatives of the association's council present included Messrs. A Grayson, H. C. Jones, J. B. King, J. Fark and G. W. Hutchison (secretary). The local president, Mr. J. Fulton, of Tuakau, briefly reviewed the historv of the branch, and said the membership had increased from 80 to 290. The progress of the agency he credited to the efforts of the secretary, Mr. M. S Campbell. An account of the growth of the association was given by Mr. H. C Jones, while Mr. G. W. Hutchison explained the recently adopted motor vehicles regulations. A musical programme was rendered by the Orpheus Quartette (Misses B. Smith, Bentley, Messrs. Simpson and D. Black).
