Wanderers Perish of Thirst Within Short Distance of Water

(United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed.. Noon. DARWIN, To-day. TWO tramps, William Watsford, of Sydney, and Harry Ferney, apparently died of thirst on a lonely trek to Darwin some weeks ago. The bodies were found seven miles apart in the Northern Territory. Both were within a short distance of water. Watsford, who was stripped of clothing, had eaten grass. Apparently he was delirious before death.
