MR. J. COBBE TO STAND FOR OROUA Press Association. In reply to a representative deputation, Mr. John G. Cobbe has consented to stand as the United Party candidate for Oroua. FEILDING, To-day. Mr. Cobbe is at present chairman at the Feilding Farmers’ Freezing Company, chairman of the Wellington Harbour Board, chairman of the Ne* Zealand Harbour Boards’ Association, and a member of the local Rural Credits Association. He was the first president of the Feilding A. and P. Association, and was a leading business man here for many years. He disposed of his business a few years ago, and now has large farm* ing interests. He was always known as a staunch Liberal.
