MINISTERS BUSY IN AUCKLAND Furt-her indication that the Aucfe land Province is likely to be a political fever centre during the general ejection campaign is given by the pr«. ence here of several Ministers of the Crown. The Prime Minister, who received several deputations at Auckland on Saturday, left this morning by car os a tour of the North, remaining in Helensvilie to-night and proceeding to. morrow to Kirikopuni to open the Kiri, kopuni section of the Waiotira-Dar. gaville railway. He will spend tomorrow night and Wednesday morning in DargaviUe, and in the evening he will speak at Paparoa. Mr. Coates will return to Auckland on Thursday, leaving for Wellington the same even, ing. He is accompanied by Mr. F. D, Thomson, head of the Prime Minister’s Department, and Mr. T. R_ Aickin, private secretary. The Minister of Finance, the Hon, W. Downie Stewart, who has been in the Waikato and Rotorua districts, will reach Auckland to-day. He is scheduled to address members of the Chamber of Commerce at lunch to-morrow. The Minister of Public Works, the Hon. K. S. Williams, has been compelled to postpone his visit to the King Country and Wanganui oving to the illness of his brother, Mr. T. S. Williams. A call to his home at Ruatorea was received by the Minister at Te Aroha on Saturday, and on completion of his- visit there he caught the Rotorua express.
